JobSafal instead offers six timed, previous-year-style practice sets for LIC AAO, built from its question bank. They are not scanned year-wise papers. Attempt each set against the clock and see where you stand.

Why they matter

Why solving PYQs works

Reading questions isn’t enough. You need to solve them against the clock. Here’s what that practice gives you:

See the real pattern

You see the style, difficulty and phrasing of exam-level questions before the exam.

Find weak topics

Your mistakes show which syllabus areas deserve the most time.

Build exam speed

LIC AAO prelims is 100 questions in one hour, with a separate 20-minute timer for each test. Timed sets build that pace.

Clear every section

LIC sets a minimum score in each test as well as on the total, so check every section of your score, not just the overall number.

How to use previous-year-style sets

Collecting PDFs won’t change your score. This routine will.

  1. Attempt full, timedDo a whole set in one sitting against the clock, as you would in the real exam.
  2. Review every mistakeGo through the answers and note why each wrong answer went wrong. LIC AAO (Generalist) has no negative marking, but every wrong answer is a mark you could have scored.
  3. Tag weak topicsGroup your errors by syllabus topic to find the two or three areas costing you the most marks.
  4. Drill those topicsPractise the weak topics on their own, then attempt another set.
  5. Track the trendWatch your score across sets, section by section as well as overall.

FAQ

PYQ questions, answered

Six timed, previous-year-style practice sets for LIC AAO. Sets 1 and 2 have 100 questions in 60 minutes, sets 3 and 4 have 80 questions in 50 minutes, and sets 5 and 6 have 65 questions in 45 minutes. Sets 1–2 are unlocked and sets 3–6 come with Premium. They are generated from JobSafal’s question bank and are not scanned papers from specific years.
LIC does not release them. Its 2025 notification states that, as a policy, test papers are disclosed only to candidates during the exam and are not shared with anybody afterwards. LIC also published no answer keys for the 2025 cycle; candidates’ marks were shown through a “Display of marks” link after the process ended.
Do both. Practice sets show you the kinds of question that get asked, and full mocks keep you sharp on the pattern. Use the sets to find weak topics, then use mocks to build speed for 100 questions in one hour in prelims and the separately timed mains tests.
Yes. You can attempt JobSafal practice sets in English or Hindi. In the real exam, the English Language tests are in English only; the other tests are offered in English and Hindi.
Solve every set under exam conditions and review each one thoroughly. A careful review matters more than the number of sets. Spread them across your preparation rather than saving them all for the last week.
LIC does not release its papers, so there is no official record to check against. The tests themselves were the same in the 2023 and 2025 notifications (apart from the descriptive paper’s format), so practising the same kinds of question by topic pays off.
