No call letter due — the next notification is awaited
The 2025 (32nd batch) recruitment ran from the notification of 16 Aug 2025 to the post-medical list of 14 May 2026. Call letters were issued for the prelims (3 Oct 2025), the mains (8 Nov 2025) and the interview. LIC hasn’t announced a date for the next AAO notification, so there is no new call letter on the way yet.
When the next cycle opens, download call letters only through the link on licindia.in › Careers, using your registration / roll number and password / date of birth. JobSafal never hosts call letters.

How the call letter download worked
This is how it worked in 2025. Expect a similar process next time, but follow the instructions in the new notification.

- Using a scribe?If you need a scribe, you must say so in the application form. The scribe declaration is a separate form (Annexure II of the notification).
- Read the Information HandoutLIC releases it with the call letter, with detailed instructions and sample questions for that stage.
- Check every detailVerify the venue address, date, session and reporting time.
- Download & printPrint the call letter and paste a recent photograph on it, preferably the same one you uploaded in your application.

What to check on your call letter
Check these as soon as you download. The name on the letter must match your photo ID exactly, and LIC doesn’t accept requests to change the centre, venue, date or session.
What to take with you
These rules come from paras 13–14 of the 2025 notification, the mains Information Handout and LIC’s notice of 4 Nov 2025. The next cycle’s documents will confirm the details.
⚠ E-Aadhaar, ration cards and learner’s driving licences were not accepted as ID. Staple the photocopy of your ID to the call letter and hand both to the invigilator. For the 2025 mains, LIC moved reporting to 7:00 am, with the gate closing at 8:45 am and the exam starting at 9:00 am. Your photo, right-thumb biometrics and left-eye IRIS scan were captured at the start and end of the mains, so remove contact lenses for the scan and wash off any mehndi or ink from your fingers.
Not allowed inside the exam centre
Para 10 of the notification and the Information Handout list these items. LIC says it can’t assure safe keeping, so don’t bring them to the venue. Using unfair means can lead to disqualification and a ban from future LIC recruitment.
Use the wait well
With no call letter due, this is preparation time. In 2025 the prelims came less than four weeks after registration closed (8 Sep to 3 Oct), so it pays to be ready before a notification appears. Keep your prep moving with JobSafal.
