Paper 1 is taken by everyone. Paper 2 (Statistics) is for Junior Statistical Officer, and Paper 3 (Finance & Economics) for Assistant Audit / Accounts Officer.

The subjects overlap, but Tier 2 goes deeper and adds Computer Knowledge and a Data Entry Speed Test. Paper 2 (Statistics) and Paper 3 (Finance & Economics) apply only to specific posts.
Four — General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each has 25 questions worth 50 marks, for 200 marks total.
Tier 1 deducts 0.50 marks per wrong answer. Tier 2 Paper 1 deducts 1 mark per wrong answer. There is no penalty for unattempted questions.
Arithmetic and Data Interpretation in Quant, Static GK and Current Affairs in General Awareness, Reading Comprehension and vocabulary in English, and Analogy/Series/Coding in Reasoning.
