Tier 1 result — not out yet
SSC typically releases the Tier 1 result a few weeks after the exam. With Tier 1 expected in Aug–Sep 2026, the result should follow later in 2026, and the Tier 2 result after that stage.
Results are published on the official SSC portal as a PDF of qualified roll numbers, with marks released separately in your login. JobSafal never hosts results — always use ssc.gov.in.

- Open the SSC websiteGo to
ssc.gov.inand click the Result tab. - Pick the CGL sectionSelect the “CGL” tab and open the SSC CGL 2026 result notice for the relevant tier.
- Open the PDFThe result is a PDF of qualified roll numbers, arranged category-wise.
- Find your roll numberUse your browser’s find (Ctrl/Cmd + F) to search your roll number in the list.
- Check your marksLog in with your Registration No. and password to see your sectional and total marks.
What the scorecard shows
A few days after each result, SSC releases the detailed scorecard in your login. It contains:
Merit list & post allocation
The final merit is built only from Tier 2 marks — Tier 1 is qualifying. SSC prepares a category-wise merit list, and posts are allotted by your rank and the post-preference order you filled. The most sought-after posts close at the highest cut-offs.
Clearing the overall cut-off doesn’t guarantee a specific post — your rank must also beat that post’s category cut-off. Fill your post preferences carefully.
