The eight zonal notices of 21 January 2023 together listed 9,394 vacancies (Western Zone the largest at 1,942). The 2019 cycle had 8,581.
In 2022-23, Open Market candidates took a 1-hour prelims (Reasoning 35, Numerical 35, English 30 qualifying) and a 160-mark, 120-minute mains. LIC Agents and Employees took only a 160-mark main exam. An interview of 40 marks followed.
