Written-test result — not out yet
The online written test for both the Law and the Bank Medical Officer posts was held on 23 August 2026, the date given on SBI’s careers page and on both “Acquaint Yourself” booklets. Neither advertisement gives a date for the result, and as of 12 October 2026 SBI’s careers page still shows only the call-letter notice for these posts — no result.
SBI hosts results, shortlists and selection lists for these posts only on its careers page, sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings, and says no separate intimation is sent when something is updated. JobSafal does not host results — always check there. For queries, both advertisements point to the “Contact us” link at sbi.bank.in/web/careers/post-your-query.

How to check your result
Each post has its own advertisement, so look for the result under the one you applied for.

sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings, the only official source for these recruitments. - Find your advertisementCRPD/SCO/2026-27/02 for Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager (Law); CRPD/SCO/2026-27/03 for Bank Medical Officer. Results are not combined across posts.
- Look for your numberWhen the result is posted, search it for the roll number or registration number on your call letter — under your post, and for BMO under the circle you applied for.
- Watch your email & SMSThe interview intimation or call letter is uploaded on SBI’s website or sent by email, as the Bank decides. No hard copy is sent.

How scores are worked out — post by post
The Law and BMO tests are marked differently. These rules come from the two advertisements and the “Acquaint Yourself” booklets:
Final merit list
Final merit is prepared separately for each post and category — and for Bank Medical Officer, separately for each circle. Marks in the online written test and the interview are normalised and combined with a 70:30 weightage. Selection is made from the top of the merit list in each category.
If candidates have the same marks at the cut-off point, they are ranked by age, older first. A wait list is kept — post-wise and category-wise for Law, circle-wise and category-wise for BMO — and candidates are released from it against non-joining, resignation or termination. It is valid for one year from the final result or until a fresh advertisement for the same post, whichever is earlier.
How SBI SO cut-offs workWhat happens after the written-test result
Clearing the written test gets you an interview call — verification, the final merit list and, for BMO, a language test still follow.
- Interview callAn adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank, are called for interview. The intimation is uploaded on the website or emailed; no hard copy is sent.
- Document verificationEvery detail is checked against originals at the interview. OBC candidates need a non-creamy-layer certificate issued between 1 April 2026 and the interview date; those in government, PSU or bank jobs should bring a No Objection Certificate. Candidates found ineligible are not interviewed or reimbursed.
- Interview & final meritThe 100-mark interview is combined with the written test at 70:30. Outstation candidates are reimbursed economy airfare by the shortest route, up to ₹10,000 to-and-fro, or the actual cost if lower.
- BMO: language testProvisionally selected Bank Medical Officers take a Local Language Proficiency Test in a language of the circle they applied for, before joining. A 10th or 12th mark sheet showing that language as a subject exempts you; failing it means no offer.
- Offer & joiningSubject to medical fitness, verification of credentials, references and antecedents, and the advertisements’ CIBIL conditions. Law officers can be posted anywhere in India; BMOs in the circle they were selected for.
