Written-test call letter — done; interview intimation next
The call letter for the online written test on 23 August 2026 was the one that carried your exam venue. The next communication is the interview intimation for shortlisted candidates, after the written-test result — no date has been announced.
Written-test call letters and “Acquaint Yourself” booklets were downloaded from SBI’s careers page with your registration number and password / date of birth; no hard copy was posted. For the interview, the intimation or call letter is uploaded on the website or sent by email, as the Bank decides — keep your email ID and mobile number active.
How exam centres are allotted
Both advertisements list the same 65 tentative written-test centres, for the Law and BMO posts alike: Guntur/Vijayawada, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Silchar, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Mohali, Raipur, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Delhi/New Delhi/NCR, Faridabad, Kurukshetra, Ghaziabad, Noida/Greater Noida, Gurugram, Panaji, Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar, Vadodara/Anand, Ambala, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), Jammu, Shimla, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Hubballi/Dharwad, Mangaluru, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhopal, Indore, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai/MMR, Nagpur, Pune, Nashik, Imphal, Churachandpur, Shillong, Aizawl, Kohima, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Puducherry, Patiala, Phagwara, Jaipur, Udaipur (Rajasthan), Gangtok, Chennai, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Hyderabad, Warangal, Agartala, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, Dehradun, Asansol, Kolkata and Siliguri. You travel to the centre at your own risk and expense — the booklets say no travelling allowance is paid for the written test.

- Log inEnter your registration number and password or date of birth.
- Scribe declaration (if eligible)PwBD candidates using a scribe submit a Scribe Declaration Form, downloadable from SBI’s website, along with the call letter.
- Download the “Acquaint Yourself” bookletEach post has its own — Law booklet and BMO booklet — with the test pattern and exam-day rules.
- Print and paste your photoAffix a recent passport-size photograph in the space on the call letter, and don’t change your appearance from the photo you uploaded.

The written-test rules come from the two booklets; the interview requirements from the advertisements:

Accepted photo IDs: passport, Aadhaar, PAN card, driving licence, voter’s card or bank passbook with an attested photograph. Calculators, phones, smartwatches, bags and other listed items are not allowed in the hall (a transparent water bottle is), and signatures in capital letters are not accepted. Outstation candidates called for interview are reimbursed economy airfare by the shortest route, up to ₹10,000 to-and-fro, or the actual cost if lower.
