SBI SO 2026 key dates
There is no single “SBI SO exam”: SBI issues a separate advertisement for each specialist post. In 2026-27 the Law and Bank Medical Officer posts are the regular posts with an online written test, and both ran on the same calendar. The advertisements gave the test only as “tentatively August 2026”; the exact date came later on SBI’s careers page.

Registration dates are from the two advertisements of 24 June 2026, which put the written test “tentatively in the month of August 2026”. The date 23 August 2026 is from SBI’s careers page and the cover of both “Acquaint Yourself” booklets. Neither advertisement gives even a tentative month for the result or interview, and SBI can modify the process — always confirm on its careers page.

Written-test result
No date announced. It is posted separately under each advertisement — Law under CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02, BMO under CRPD/SCO/2026-27/03.
Interview intimation
Uploaded on SBI’s website or sent by email, as the Bank decides. No hard copy is sent, so keep your email ID and mobile number active.
Documents for interview
Originals of everything you uploaded, an OBC non-creamy-layer certificate issued from 1 April 2026 if applicable, and a No Objection Certificate if you work in government, a PSU or a bank.
Other 2026-27 regular SCO posts follow different calendars and have no written test: Trade Finance Officer–IBG (CRPD/SCO/2026-27/15) registration ran 29 Aug – 19 Sep 2026, later extended to 28 Sep 2026; for the Manager (Manpower Planning & Recruitment) and Manager (Learning & Development) posts (CRPD/SCO/2026-27/12), interviews were scheduled for 1 Oct 2026.
