Answer key — objection window closed
The CBT for CEN 09/2025 was held from 3 to 25 August 2026. The RRBs put a link on their websites to view questions, responses and answer keys from 20:00 on 7 September 2026 to 23:55 on 17 September 2026, and objections could be raised in the same window. The RRBs’ notice says no representation on questions, options or keys will be entertained after that deadline.
The next step is the CBT result and the PET shortlist, on the official RRB websites. The RRBs’ decision on objections is final and binding. No result date has been announced, and the RRBs haven’t said whether a revised key will be published separately.

Calculate your expected score
Match your responses against the key and apply the CEN 09/2025 marking scheme: 100 questions of 1 mark each, with one-third of a mark deducted for each wrong answer (para 14.1).
Score = (Correct × 1) − (Wrong × 1/3)
Count your correct and wrong answers from the response view and plug them in. Unattempted questions score zero.
This is your raw score against the key you saw. The CBT ran in multiple shifts, so shortlisting uses normalised marks (para 15.0) and your final figure can differ. To be considered at all you need 40% for UR/EWS or 30% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST; the actual PET cut-off depends on your Railway and community.
