CBT e-call letters issued — PET call letter next
The RRBs held the CBT on 16 days between 3 and 25 August 2026, as per the revised schedule of 30 July 2026. The exam city & date link went live 10 days before each candidate’s exam date, and e-call letters could be downloaded about 4 days before it. The next call letter is for the Physical Efficiency Test, for candidates shortlisted on CBT merit. The RRBs haven’t announced a result or PET date.
Dates for PET, document verification, the medical exam and empanelment are announced through the websites of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) listed in para 24.0 (B) of the CEN. Shortlisted candidates are also told by SMS and email. Check the CBT result on your RRB’s website first. JobSafal never hosts call letters, so always use the official websites.

What’s printed on your e-call letter
Check these as soon as you download any stage’s e-call letter. Your details must match your application and your photo ID. Report a mismatch to your RRB (CBT) or RRC (PET, DV, medical) straight away.
What to take to the centre
From para 20.0 and 21.0 of CEN 09/2025 and the RRBs’ CBT schedule notices. Also carry anything else your e-call letter asks for.
⚠ Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is done at the centre before you enter the hall, so keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system. Without the required original ID proofs you won’t be allowed to take the exam. Don’t write the self-declaration in advance or sign in capital letters — the e-call letter will be rejected.
Prohibited at the exam centre
Only the e-call letter (with the IDs and photo you are asked to bring) is allowed inside the test centre, and a pen is provided there. If you are found with a mobile phone, Bluetooth or any other wireless device, working or switched off, your candidature is cancelled and you can be debarred from RRB exams. Using unfair means, such as impersonation, leads to a lifetime ban from all RRB and RRC exams. Cloak rooms may not be available, so leave valuables at home, and avoid henna on your hands and feet because it blocks biometric capture.
Turn the wait into a lead
PET is qualifying but strict, and you get one chance at each test. Men must carry 35 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes and then run 1,000 m in 4 min 15 s. Women carry 20 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes and run 1,000 m in 5 min 40 s. Keep training while the result is awaited.
