The General cadre took Phase I on 13 June 2026 and Phase II on 25 July 2026, and the Phase II result with the interview shortlist came out in August 2026. Shortlisted candidates now get an interview call letter by e-mail. As of 12 October 2026, RBI hasn’t published interview dates.

When the Board opens the download for a phase, this is the route. Exact login fields are shown on RBI’s download page.

  1. Open RBI’s recruitment siteGo to opportunities.rbi.org.in (or rbi.org.in). The Board publishes admit cards and corrigenda only on the Bank’s website.

  3. Log inEnter the registration details the page asks for, from your online application.
  4. Using a scribe? Each admit card notice also links the instructions for PwBD candidates using a scribe or compensatory time, and for candidates with less than 40% disability who have difficulty in writing.
  5. Download the information handoutIt explains that phase’s tests, timings and on-screen rules — for example the Phase II General handout.
  6. Check every detailCheck the admit card carefully and report any error to the Board at once (para 29(b)), through cgrs.ibps.in.
  7. Download & printYou must show the admit card at every shift. For Phase II, one admit card covers both shifts.

Leave at home

Not allowed inside the exam centre

Para 17 of the advertisement bans these items in working or switched-off mode. Breaking the rule can lead to disciplinary action, including a ban from future exams, and the Board doesn’t guarantee safe keeping for anything you bring.

× Mobile phones, even switched off
× Smart watches
× Bluetooth devices
× Physical calculators
× Pagers
× Pen drives & storage media
