What exists for IBPS RRB Clerk past papers
The CRP RRBs-XV notification and the IBPS notices issued since don’t include past question papers or answer keys for Office Assistants. The official material you can rely on is the notification itself — section D sets out every test, its questions, marks and time — plus the information handout IBPS releases with the call letter.
Why the official structure is worth your time
With no past papers from IBPS, the notification is your most reliable guide to what the test looks like. Here’s what it tells you:
See the real format
Two prelims tests and five mains tests, each with its own timer, all objective. In mains you take English Language or Hindi Language, not both.
Plan for the timers
IBPS RRB Clerk prelims is 80 questions in 45 minutes — 25 minutes for Reasoning and 20 for Numerical Ability. Practise at that pace.
Know the marking
Every wrong answer costs one-fourth of that question’s marks; a blank costs nothing. Careless guessing hurts.
Clear every test
IBPS sets a minimum score for each test, and only mains marks count for the final merit — so check every section of your score, not just the overall number.
Official IBPS documents for CRP RRBs-XV
These are IBPS’s own PDFs for this recruitment, linked straight from ibps.in. The notification carries the test structure; the others carry the vacancies and dates. The information handout is not out yet — it comes with the call letter.
How to practise without a past paper
Downloading a PDF won’t change your score. This routine will.
- Read section D end to endNote every test, its questions, marks and timer, and the medium you chose. None of it should surprise you on exam day.
- Practise against the real timersTime topic-wise practice at the exam’s pace — 40 Reasoning questions in 25 minutes and 40 Numerical Ability questions in 20 for prelims.
- Review every mistakeNote why each wrong answer went wrong — with ¼ of a question’s marks lost per wrong answer, careless guesses cost you.
- Tag weak topicsGroup your errors by syllabus topic to find the two or three areas costing you the most marks, then drill them.
- Read the handout when it arrivesDownload the information handout with your call letter and go through the exam-day rules before the test.
