Both exams are over — the LPT is next
The online prelims was held on 11 and 13 April 2026; candidates at Imphal and Kakching took it on 30 April with fresh call letters, after a curfew. The prelims result notice of 25 May 2026 announced the online mains for 7 June 2026, with separate call letters giving the time and venue. RBI published the mains result on 24 September 2026. The Language Proficiency Test (LPT) comes next: RBI hasn’t announced its dates, and the office you applied to will intimate the centre and dates.
Download call letters only from RBI’s own website. JobSafal never hosts call letters. For the Kanpur & Lucknow office, RBI said on 24 September 2026 that the mains result would be declared shortly.

What to check on your call letter
Check these as soon as you download. RBI may allot a centre other than the one you chose, even outside your state or UT, and doesn’t allow a change of centre.
Documents RBI asked for after the mains
The mains result notice of 24 September 2026 asks provisionally shortlisted candidates to send these documents. Selection stays provisional until you clear the LPT, are found medically fit and your documents are verified.
⚠ Send the documents by courier or Speed Post to the Regional Director, HRMD of the Regional Office you applied to, so that they reach within ten days of the result being published. Write “Recruitment for the Post of Assistant - Panel Year 2025” on the envelope. The notice also lists proof of age, qualification, category and caste and, where relevant, a relieving letter among the documentary evidence your selection depends on.
Not allowed at the exam
