SSC GD Constable City Intimation Slip · exam city & date

Before the 2026 CBE, SSC put up each candidate’s exam city and date on its website ahead of the admit card. The CBE ran from 27 April to 31 May 2026 and is now over. The next stage, PET/PST, is held at centres fixed by the CAPFs, and its details come with the PET/PST admit card from CRPF.

Under the GD 2026 notification, SSC uploads the timetable and exam city for each candidate about two weeks before the exam. The CBE was held from 27 April to 31 May 2026, so there are no CBE city details left to release. Next comes the CBE result and the PET/PST shortlist, which are awaited.

The notification does not mention a separate city slip for PET/PST. If you are shortlisted, your PET/PST admit card from CRPF on crpf.gov.in is the document to watch — it is made available about two weeks before the test.

How exam cities worked for the 2026 CBE

  1. Three city choicesIn the online application you listed three exam cities in order of priority. No change was allowed later.
  2. Self-slot selectionWhen SSC opened the window, you logged in and picked a city (from those three) and a date that still had slots available.
  3. No choice, no examCandidates who skipped the self-slot window were not scheduled, and no admit card was generated for them.
  4. City & date on ssc.gov.inAbout two weeks before the exam, SSC uploaded each candidate’s timetable and city.
  5. Admit cardThe admit card itself followed a few days before the exam, in your login on ssc.gov.in.

As per the notification, SSC uploads each candidate’s exam city and timetable about two weeks before the exam date. The CBE ran from 27 April to 31 May 2026, so all of these were released before that and the CBE is now over.
The notification doesn’t mention one. PET/PST is held at centres fixed by the CAPFs, and CRPF issues the PET/PST admit card on crpf.gov.in about two weeks before the test. It will come only after the CBE result, which is awaited.
No. The notification says the CBE, PET/PST or medical centre is not a criterion for selection against a state’s vacancies — your domicile certificate / PRC is the only criterion.
No. Requests to change the centre were not entertained. You picked from your three cities through self-slot selection, and SSC kept the right to shift candidates to another centre if needed.
No. What you need at each stage is the printed admit card and an original photo ID (plus two recent colour passport-size photos if you weren’t Aadhaar-authenticated).
