Online registration and fee payment for advertisement CRPD/CR/2026-27/17 ran from 11 to 31 August 2026 on SBI’s careers page. Applications were accepted online only — no other mode. A saved form could be reopened and edited with the provisional registration number and password, but only three times; once the form was finally submitted, no change was allowed, and SBI does not entertain requests to correct any particulars, including category, after submission.
Apply only through SBI’s official careers page. Decide the one state/UT you are applying for before you start — you are considered only for that state’s vacancies — and have a valid email ID and mobile number (kept active till the results), the four scans, a webcam or phone for the live photo, and a debit card, credit card or internet banking for the fee, so you can finish in one sitting.
How to apply online
- Scan your documents firstScan your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration to the Annexure II specs (see below). Without a left thumb, you may use your right thumb.
- Open the online applicationOn sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings, scroll down to “Recruitment of Junior Associates”, download and read advertisement no. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17, and click “Apply Online”.
- Choose your state/UT & fill detailsPick the one state/UT whose vacancies you are applying for, opt for one local language from that state’s list for the language test, and choose an exam centre from Annexure I. When you save, the system shows a provisional registration number and password — note them down. Aadhaar details are optional; SC/ST/OBC/XS/PwBD candidates can opt for SBI’s online pre-examination training here.
- Upload scans & live photoUpload each scan at its own link, then capture a live photo through your webcam (“Capture Photo”) or phone (“Click here to Scan” QR code). The application isn’t registered without all four uploads.
- Check & pay the feeRecheck every field, then pay through the payment gateway in the form by debit card, credit card or internet banking. Any transaction charges are yours to pay.
- Submit & printOnce the payment goes through, an e-receipt and the application form are generated — print them for your record (don’t send them to SBI). If the payment fails, register again and pay online.

The online application isn’t registered unless the photograph, signature, thumb impression and declaration are uploaded as specified, and an unclear or smudged upload can get the application rejected. The specs from Annexure II of the advertisement (scan at 200 dpi or more, true colour):

The declaration text is prescribed in the advertisement and must be in your own handwriting, in English; a signature or declaration in capital letters is not accepted. If your signature on the attendance sheet or call letter at the exam doesn’t match the uploaded one, you can be disqualified. SBI advises keeping about 8 copies of the same photograph for later stages.
