RRB NTPC salary at a glance
CEN 06/2026 has four graduate posts at two 7th CPC pay levels. The notification states each post’s pay level and initial pay. It gives no gross, allowance or take-home figures — so neither do we.

Initial pay, level by level
Initial pay across the NTPC pay levels. Only Levels 5 and 6 are in CEN 06/2026; Levels 2–4 come from the 2025 notifications, to show where the graduate posts sit.
These are initial (starting) pay figures exactly as printed in the notifications. The CEN gives no allowance rates or take-home amounts, so we don’t estimate them.

Job profiles by post
The CEN doesn’t describe daily duties, so here’s what it does say about each post — tap a post to expand.
Service terms in the notification
The CEN doesn’t list allowances or deductions. It does set these terms for selected candidates:
Choosing your posts
The notification doesn’t set out promotion paths, but it’s strict about how you get a post. You apply to one RRB and rank the posts and Railway zones you want there; options can’t be changed later. Allotment follows merit, medical standard and vacancies, and once you’re empanelled you can’t be considered for another post in the same pay level. Opt only for posts whose medical standard you meet — a candidate found unfit for an opted post gets no alternative appointment.

Daily targets, PYQ practice sets & RRB NTPC mock tests — built on the CBT-1 & CBT-2 pattern.
Every post comes from the same two CBTs
Whether you want the Level-6 supervisor post or a Level-5 one, the route is the same: CBT-1, then your CBT-2 normalised score and your options. JobSafal builds the daily plan for both stages.

A daily target across Maths, Reasoning and General Awareness, built around your exam.
CBT-style mock tests
RRB NTPC mocks with −1/3 negative marking and analysis after every attempt.

General Awareness is the biggest section (40 of CBT-1’s 100 questions, as indicated in the CEN).
PYQ practice sets
