Overview

Past RRB NTPC questions & practice

RRB’s own route to past questions is the answer-key window after each CBT, when candidates who sat the test can view their questions, responses and keys for a few days. Between those windows, JobSafal gives you RRB NTPC PYQ practice sets and mock tests in the app.

Why they matter

Why exam-style practice works

Reading notes is not the same as answering under time with a penalty for mistakes. Practice sets give you:

Familiarity with the format

Objective multiple-choice questions across the three CBT subjects, so nothing on screen surprises you.

Respect for negative marking

With one-third of a mark lost per wrong answer, practice shows you when to attempt and when to skip.

Exam speed

CBT-1 asks 100 questions and CBT-2 asks 120, each in 90 minutes — timed sets train that pace.

Weak areas, early

Scoring each attempt shows which syllabus topics are costing you marks while there is still time to fix them.

How to use practice sets

Attempting a set changes little on its own. This is the routine that actually moves your score.

  1. Attempt it timedSit the whole set in one go against the clock — no pausing, no looking things up.
  2. Mark it the RRB wayDeduct one-third of a mark for every wrong answer so your score reflects the real CBT.
  3. Review every mistakeNote why each wrong answer went wrong — concept gap, calculation slip or a guess.
  4. Tag weak topicsGroup your errors by syllabus topic and drill the two or three costing you most.
  5. Track the trendCompare scores across attempts — accuracy should rise along with the number you attempt.

FAQ

PYQ questions, answered

After each CBT, RRB opens a time-limited link on rrb.indianrailways.gov.in where candidates who appeared can view their questions, responses and answer keys and raise objections. For CEN 07/2025 CBT-2, for example, the link was open from 24.09.2026 to 30.09.2026.
They are practice sets for RRB NTPC in the app’s PYQ section, attempted timed and tracked separately from the mock tests. They are practice material, not reproductions of official RRB papers.
No. Applications for CEN 06/2026 are open until 06.11.2026, and RRB has not yet announced the CBT-1 dates. They will be published on the official RRB websites.
Both. Shorter practice sets help after each topic; full mock tests build the stamina and pacing for a 90-minute CBT with negative marking.
Score yourself as RRB does — minus one-third of a mark per wrong answer — and check whether your guesses are gaining or losing you marks overall.
The syllabus tells you what to study; exam-style practice tells you whether you can answer it under time. Use the topics in the official syllabus to plan, and practice sets to test yourself.
