No result yet — CBT-1 isn’t scheduled
Online applications for CEN 06/2026 run from 8 October to 6 November 2026. The RRBs have not announced the CBT-1 dates, so no result is due yet. The CEN says the results of the CBTs and the empanelment will be uploaded on the official webpages of the individual RRBs.
Each RRB publishes its own result on its page of the unified RRB website, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in. In the 2025 cycle that meant a notice with the list of shortlisted roll numbers, plus a separate cut-off sheet. JobSafal does not host results — always check the RRB website.

How to check your result
This is how the RRBs published NTPC results in the 2025 cycle. The CEN 06/2026 notices may differ in detail — follow the notice on the RRB website.
- Open the RRB websiteGo to
rrb.indianrailways.gov.inand open the page of the RRB you applied to. - Open the result noticeLook for the CEN 06/2026 notice for the relevant stage — CBT-1 or CBT-2.
- Find your roll numberSearch the list with your browser’s find (Ctrl/Cmd + F). Roll numbers are listed in ascending order, not by merit.
- Check the cut-off sheetCut-offs are given post-wise and community-wise, in normalised marks out of 100, for that RRB only.
- Log in for your scoreUse the score link with your Registration Number and Date of Birth. For CEN 06/2025, the CBT-2 score link went live on 27 August 2026 at 17:00.
What the score login shows
In the 2025 cycle the RRBs opened a score link after each CBT result. According to their notices, it showed:
How each result shortlists candidates
CBT-1 is only a screening test. Its normalised marks shortlist 15 times the community-wise vacancies of each RRB for CBT-2 (Railways can change this ratio). CBT-2 normalised marks then decide the document-verification list, at 1:1 of the vacancies, subject to the minimum qualifying marks. If marks are tied, the older candidate ranks higher, and then the given name in A–Z order.
Everything is RRB-wise: you compete only for the vacancies of the RRB you chose, and cut-offs differ by RRB, post and community. If you are shortlisted using an OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD or Ex-Servicemen benefit, you are considered only in that category at every later stage. Unlike the 2025 cycle, CEN 06/2026 has no typing skill test and no aptitude test after CBT-2.

Clearing CBT-2 is not the same as being selected. The CEN lists these steps before appointment.
- Document verificationBring all your original certificates on the DV date. The RRB gives no extra time, and you can lose your candidature if you don’t have them.
- Medical examinationYou must meet the medical standard of the post (A-2, B-2 or C-2). If you are unfit for the post you chose, you get no alternative appointment.
- Empanelment & allotmentThe RRB allots a Railway zone or production unit by merit, your options, medical standard and vacancies. It recommends names; the offer of appointment comes from the Railway administration.
- Training & joiningYou are paid only a stipend during training. A request to move to another Railway is not registered until you complete 5 to 10 years of service.
