Prelims done — result & Mains call letter next
The prelims was held on 29 August 2026, as per the IBPS tentative calendar. The prelims result is due in September/October 2026 and hadn’t been posted on the CRP SPL-XVI page as of 12 October 2026. Shortlisted candidates then download the Mains call letter, which the notification schedules for October 2026, for a Mains on 1 November 2026 as per the IBPS tentative calendar. The centre, venue address, post applied for, date and time are printed on each call letter.
Download your call letters only from the official IBPS website by entering your registration number and password / date of birth. JobSafal never hosts call letters, so always use ibps.in.

Prepare for IBPS SO with your own daily plan
Daily targets for Reasoning, English, Quant & banking awareness, plus daily current affairs.
What to check on your call letter
Check these as soon as you download. The name on the letter must match your photo ID exactly, and IBPS won’t change the date, time or centre on request.
What to take with you
These rules come from clauses D, K, M and P of the CRP SPL-XVI notification. Also bring anything else your call letter and Information Handout ask for.
⚠ Ration cards and learner’s driving licences are not accepted as ID. Without a valid call letter and photo ID, you won’t be allowed to take the exam, and if you don’t bring the stamped prelims call letter and ID copy to the Mains, you won’t be allowed in. Your photograph and biometric data may be captured at different stages, and IBPS may carry out online Aadhaar verification. IBPS suggests keeping about 8 copies of the photograph you uploaded.
Not allowed inside the exam centre
Clause N of the notification lists these items. Breaking the rule can lead to cancellation of your candidature and a ban from future exams. IBPS doesn’t guarantee safe storage for anything you bring.
Use the wait well
Whether you’re waiting for the prelims result, getting ready for the Mains or planning your next attempt, keep your preparation moving. JobSafal doesn’t have IBPS SO mock tests or PYQ sets yet, and it doesn’t cover post-specific Professional Knowledge. Your IBPS SO plan gives daily targets for the general sections that every post must qualify in.
Reasoning practice
Reasoning is the longest general test in the Mains (40 questions, 35 minutes) for every post.
Timed practice
Each Mains test has its own time limit, so practise pacing English, Reasoning and Quant separately.
Banking awareness
Daily current affairs and banking news — a Mains test for Law and Rajbhasha, and useful for the interview.
Daily plan
Short daily targets that leave room for your Professional Knowledge study.
