IBPS PO Admit Card 2026 · call letter

IBPS calls its admit card a call letter. You download it from ibps.in using your registration number and password or date of birth. Each stage has its own call letter: prelims, Mains, personality test and interview. This page covers when each one comes out, how to download it, and what to carry.

The prelims and Mains call letters have already been issued. The Mains was scheduled for 4 October 2026. Next come the personality test (November 2026) and the interview (November/December 2026), and both dates are tentative. The centre, venue address, date and time of each stage are printed on that stage’s call letter.

How to download your call letter

When IBPS opens the download for your stage, here’s what to do.

  1. Open the IBPS websiteGo to www.ibps.in. All announcements for this recruitment are posted only there.
  2. Find the CRP PO/MT-XVI linkOpen the call letter link for your stage: prelims, Mains, personality test or interview.
  3. Log inEnter your Registration No. and Password / Date of Birth.
  4. Using a scribe?If you chose a scribe in your application, fill in the scribe’s details while downloading. Then download the scribe declaration form separately.
  5. Read the Information HandoutIBPS releases it along with the call letter, with detailed instructions for that stage.
  6. Check every detailVerify the centre, venue address, date and time.
  7. Download & printPrint the call letter and paste the same photograph you uploaded in your application.

⚠ Ration cards and learner’s driving licences are not accepted as ID. Without a valid call letter and photo ID, you won’t be allowed to take the exam. At the Mains, IBPS said it would capture your photograph and biometric data and carry out Aadhaar verification at the venue.

Call letter questions, answered

The notification tentatively puts the personality test in November 2026 and the interview in November/December 2026. IBPS hasn’t announced exact dates yet. You download each call letter from ibps.in, and the letter gives the centre, venue address, date and time.
Your registration number and your password or date of birth, entered on the official IBPS website, www.ibps.in.
No. IBPS doesn’t send hard copies of call letters or the Information Handout by post or courier. Updates come by email and SMS to the contact details you registered, so check ibps.in regularly as well.
No. IBPS doesn’t accept requests to change the date, time, venue or centre for the exams, personality test or interview. IBPS can allot a centre other than the one you chose and can make changes itself if unforeseen circumstances arise.
It’s a self-report test. IBPS may hold it in proctored mode or at identified exam centres, whichever it decides. It doesn’t carry qualifying marks, but you must take it to be eligible for the interview.
Carry a valid original photo ID and a photocopy. The name on it must be exactly the same as on your call letter. Accepted IDs include a PAN card, passport, permanent driving licence, voter card, bank passbook with photo, Aadhaar / e-Aadhaar with photo, college or university ID, employee ID, Bar Council ID, or an ID from a gazetted officer or people’s representative on official letterhead. Ration cards and learner’s licences are not accepted.
