Applications closed on 8 Jul 2026
Online registration ran from 18 June to 8 July 2026 on SBI’s careers page, and you could edit your application during that period. Fee payment ran over the same dates. Applications were accepted online only. Once a form was finally submitted, no changes were allowed, and after the window closed no corrections were possible in any form. The corrigendum of 1 July 2026 confirmed that candidates who had already registered did not need to register again.
Apply only through SBI’s official careers page. Before you start, have a valid email ID and mobile number (keep both active until the results), the four scans, a webcam or phone for the live photo, and a card, internet banking or UPI for the fee. That way you can finish in one sitting.
How to apply online
- Scan your documents firstScan your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration to the Annexure II specs (see below).
- Open the online applicationOn sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings, scroll down to advertisement no. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09, read it, and click “Apply Online”.
- Fill & saveWhen you save a complete or partly filled form, the system shows a provisional registration number and password. Note them down, because you need them to reopen and edit the saved form.
- Upload scans & live photoUpload each scan at its own link. Then capture a live photo through your webcam (“Capture Photo”) or phone (“Click here to Scan” QR code).
- Check & pay the feeRecheck every field, then pay through the payment gateway in the form by debit card, credit card, internet banking or UPI. Any transaction charges are yours to pay.
- Submit & printOnce the payment goes through, an e-receipt and the application form are generated. Print them. You can reprint them later. If the payment fails, register again and pay online.

Scan & upload specs
The online application isn’t registered unless the photograph, signature, thumb impression and declaration are uploaded to spec. If any of them is unclear, the application may be rejected. These are the specs from Annexure II of the advertisement. All scans are JPG/JPEG, scanned at 200 dpi or more:
| Upload | Format | File size |
|---|---|---|
| Photograph | Recent passport-style colour photo, 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm (200 × 230 px preferred) | 20–50 KB |
| Signature | Black ink on white paper (140 × 60 px preferred) | 10–20 KB |
| Left-hand thumb impression | Black or blue ink on white paper, 3 cm × 3 cm (240 × 240 px at 200 DPI) | 20–50 KB |
| Hand-written declaration | Black ink on white paper, 10 cm × 5 cm (800 × 400 px at 200 DPI) | 50–100 KB |
| Live photograph | Captured in the form by webcam or phone | — |
Write the declaration in English, in your own clear handwriting, using the text given in the advertisement: “I ______ (Name of the candidate), ______ (Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine.” A declaration or signature in capital letters is not accepted. If you don’t have a left thumb, you can use your right thumb. Keep about 8 copies of the photo you upload, because you’ll need them at later stages.
